Team Bios

	Shari Farkas, Managing Partner Shari joined Acuity Solutions, LLC (then Wilson, Beers & Company) in 1991 and became a partner in 1996. She has helped hundreds of Las Vegas businesses understand and implement the most modern business tools available. Shari oversees all operations, marketing, sales, customer service and public relations for the company. A native Las Vegan, she has served the community in many ways. Shari is active with the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Community Council Board of Directors 1999-2003, graduate of Leadership Las Vegas 2002, Chair/Co-Chair Community Achievement Awards 2002/2003, recipient of Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Circle of Excellence Award and she serves on the Board of the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada and was the board president in 2006.
	Annette Egbert, Partner, Financial Applications Consultant Annette has been with Acuity Solutions, LLC since 1994 and became a partner in 2002. She is our Director of Financial Application Solutions. Prior to elevating to this position, she was our Lead MAS 90 Consultant and our Office Manager. Previously she worked with Laguna Data Systems where she assisted the accounting department in writing technical manuals for their software. Annette has mastered automating the accounting process and is regarded by many clients as one of their most valued advisors. She is a native Las Vegan. She is very active with her church, serving as a primary teacher and Achievement Day Coordinator and has also volunteered for the American Red Cross.
	Brian Rice, Partner, Director of Business Development Brian Rice was named partner at Acuity Solutions in 2008, the same year he celebrated his ten years of employment with the company. Brian works in several areas of the business including marketing, customer account management, project management and business development. Brian is a member of the Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2009 and Chamber Voices Toastmasters, serving as Vice President of Public Relations. Previously he served as Sergeant at Arms for the club and as a board member and Secretary for the Nevada Sportsman Coalition. Prior to joining Acuity Solutions, Brian worked as a Safety Officer for Cal/Pac Painting and White Eagle Concrete.
	Eric Bjerke, Financial Applications Consultant Eric Bjerke joined Acuity Solutions, LLC as Financial Applications Consultant in 2004. Bjerke has more than 15-years experience working with MAS 90/200 as a Controller and CFO; and 30-years of accounting. Mr. Bjerke is a graduate of Eisenhower College with a BA in Economics and a Masters Degree in International Management from the Thunderbird Graduate School for International Business. Career landmarks consist of successful implementation and expansion of MAS 90/200 for a sizable construction company and a large manufacturing company. Bjerke’s area of expertise is in maximizing MAS 90/200 features and manufacturing suite of modules.
	Michael J. Mehr, CPA.CITP, Business Applications Consultant Michael was born and raised in the New York City area and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting from the University at Buffalo. Michael then worked for Public Ccounting firms and served as Cheif Accounting Officer for a publicly traded firm. In 2001, Michael became the Director of Operations of Accounting Computer & Software Solutions (ACSS), an information technology-consulting firm affiliated with Chavez & Koch, CPA’s, Ltd. Under his leadership, ACSS provided valuable and innovative business information solutions using the latest technological tools. In May 2007, ACSS merged its operations into Acuity Solutions, LLC, where Michael currently serves as Senior Financial Applications Consultant. He provides hands on consulting as well as classroom training at Acuity’s Sage Software Authorized Training Center. Currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Nevada and previously in New York and California, Michael serves as a director of the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a founding member and past Chairman of their Technology Committee. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Information Technology Section and has achieved Certified Information Technology Professional designation.
	Esther Woolford, Financial Applications Consultant Esther Woolford joined Acuity Solutions LLC as Financial Software Consultant in November of 2006. Woolford is a native of Las Vegas and a graduate of Basic High School. Woolford holds various training and certifications in financial and accounting applications and specializes in Quickbooks, Peachtree and MAS 90 & 200 software. Woolford brings 22-years of bookkeeping and accounting experience through her previous employment with KW Pipeline and Wilson Roofing. Woolford’s high level of experience brings proven business practices and customization of financial applications to client’s businesses, making bookkeeping and accounting procedures manageable.
	Diana Miller, Office Manager Diana Miller joined Acuity Solutions, LLC as Office Manager in 2000. Ms. Miller specializes in Accounts Receivable and Payable and manages daily operations. Miller is a native of Las Vegas and a graduate of Clark High School. Miller is in the process of completing her associate degree in accounting from Community College of Southern Nevada. An active community member, she serves as Assistant Cub Master for the Cub Scouts of America, Soccer Coach for Nevada Youth Sports and participates in the Micro Business Community Program at Garehime Elementary School.
	Jolee Rivera, Project Coordinator Jolee joined Acuity Solutions, LLC in August 2005 as Administrative Assistant. She now corrdinates all projects with our customers and handles the marketing and administration for our Sage Authorized Training Center. Jolee earned her Associates Degree from The College of Southern Nevada in Business and Marketing. She is active in the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Vegas Young Professionals and The Technology Business Alliance of Nevada.
	Loretta Moses, Marketing & Public Relations Consultant Loretta Moses joined Acuity Solutions, LLC as Marketing and Public Relations Consultant in November of 2004. Moses is a graduate of Community College of Southern Nevada with an Associate of General Studies degree and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management with University of Phoenix. Moses is a native of Las Vegas with more than fifteen-years experience in business management, communications, event planning and fundraising. Active in her community Moses in a past board member of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and graduate of the Leadership Las Vegas Class of 99’.
